Overview and Introduction

Breakthrough Action™ Consulting (BAC) emerged as a request from consultants who are deeply committed to contributing to the transformation of the communities they care about, utilizing the consulting context as opposed to some of the other transformative contexts like non-profits leadership, therapist, or community activists (to name a few).  While each context can contribute, the BA-Consultant first understands their choice to use consulting as a vehicle for individual or community transformation.  Secondly, the BA-Consultant  acknowledges that to choose to be a consultant is to choose to produce results through the lens of consulting.  While this seems obvious, it is actually quite common for consultants to try to produce results as directors, or advice givers, advocates, or even therapists thereby frustrating themselves and their clients since what they have chosen is to be consultants.  Finally, the group will attract consultants interested in the honest exploration of the gap between their commitments to the consulting clients and the results they are producing, namely, consultants who want to use responsibility to consistently improve their impact, their scale and their financial success.
